Gilbert and Halle Berry

Take a few days off, and miss a few hundred Gilbert Arenas-related blog items.

1) Via The Hype Guy and others, Gilbert's sneaker-centered interview with Complex magazine, in which he's asked which feels better, a buzzer beater or sex:

"Damn, you know what, a buzzer beater because it's harder. You can get sex every day. If it was sex with Halle Berry? I'd take Halle Berry."

(He also lists his top four choices for cities he'd plan in next year, if not D.C., I guess.)

2) Gilbert's blog. 5,072 words, including more than 2,300 on whether he cheats at Halo 3. Just your typical week at the office. My favorite part is the end, in which he talks about a friend who died when he was a teenager because he had dunked a ball and it made him so happy. I've never heard of teenagers dying of happiness, but I want to believe this is true.

If I had to pass away, that would be the way I would want to pass away -- like if I won the championship and I was so happy that I passed out right there. That's a memory that I can always live with. He didn't pass away from a gun shot or this or that. He passed away doing something he loved.

3) Bullets Forever interviews a Wizznut, who confidently predicts an MVP season from Michael Ruffin.

4) Speaking of the Wizznutzz, their history of Gilbert cheating at video games is absolutely required reading.

5) Speaking of video games, Via Kotaku comes an update from Bungie's Frankie:

"Lots of drama abounded (or perhaps rebounded) on Wednesday and Thursday as famous baller Gilbert Arenas got busted for EXP boosting on Live. Although it's a little sad, it's not strictly cheating at the game and he's not really harming anyone. However, we should reinforce our philosophy and comment here."

The rest means nothing to me, but watch out for the Banhammer, I guess.

He really must not like his relationship with his girl.

why the parentheses around a foretelling exclusion of DC on the list? Isn't this newsworthy and potentially terrible?
