Meet Dominic McGuire

This Web site's new sports editor, Jon DeNunzio, envisioned this fancy Wizards preview page, which will eventually include little video biographical Q&A's with every member of the Wizards. Q&A's that will be conducted by me, naturally.

We got off to a modest start today, spending a few minutes with Dominic McGuire and Eddie Jordan. More will follow. McGuire's interview, featuring several appearances by special guest Nick Young, appears below.

If I can plug the competition, I'd also encourage you to pick up the print copy of today's Washington Times, which has every member of the Wizards mugging for the camera, four shots, all supposedly zany. The actual zaniness of the photos in some ways corresponds to each player's blogability; Gilbert, Caron, DeShawn and Brendan are completely goofing off-- although Antonio Daniels has the best mug and Andray Blatche was surprisingly funny--while Antawn Jamison just can't muster enough quirkiness to look funny. McGuire, though, steals the show by refusing to change his facial expression at all. Very, very hard. If someone can find these photos online, please advise. I'm hoping they all appear on The Wizznutzz eventually.

Anyhow, meet Dominic McGuire, below.

You really want me to meet Dominic McGuire, making this post pop up in the RSS feed three times. I now refuse to do any such thing.

What a great feature by the Post--nice interview, too. If only you guys had built in a cliché-buster, too...I counted 11 in 45 seconds, until Nick Young arrived.

Where was the pre guy when this interview was going on. NO 1 told him to not chew gum during interviews and look like a little kid. And what is with the bouncing on and off the wall. What the hell is wrong with him he needs to be taught how to be professional. IMAGE IS EVERYTHING KID.
