Wizard Photo Gallery

With the season nearly upon us, Wizards fans, unprompted, have taken to sending me all manner of photos concerning their favorite team. And so, let me present what I hope is the first of a series of homages to D.C.'s strangest fan base.

This is Curtis Morales, who goes to a very serious Ivy League school and nevertheless reads the Bog regularly. He went to a Halo tournament at that Ivy League school wearing his Gilbert shirt to see what would happen. Nothing much happened, but he did get to pose with Master Chief.

This is, reportedly, a photo of David Gregory. He works for NBC News. I once watched him ask Shaq for an autograph. This photo would seem to indicate that he also buys Wiz tickets from scalpers. It's from last April, and comes courtesy of MJ Rutherford. How great is the Internet age?

Here are Wiz fans and season ticket holders Nate and Besse Rose, who brought Wiz jerseys when they were married at the Courthouse. No, they didn't wear them during the actual ceremony.

And here are their cake toppers. Also, they entered the reception to "Bring 'Em Out." Also, there was also a t-shirt bazooka gun, but they forgot to use it.

Longtime Bog reader Will is very concerned that Antawn Jamison is the dominant art in this season ticket pitch. He wonders whether this is further evidence that Gil isn't in the franchise's long-term plans. I'd say it's further evidence that the season really needs to start soon.

A dunk is more exciting than follow-through on a game-winning three pointer?

They should've just played the middle and went with Eddie Jordan's t-shirt gun.

I saw David Gregory at the Union Station Sbarro once. A man of the people.
