Gibbs Dictionary Unveiled
UPDATE: Yeah, so Deuce of Davenport really did do this exact same thing this week. Amazingly similar. Read it here.
Wish I'd thought of this. From Jerry's Wheelhouse, the new Gibbs Dictionary, with entries such as
A "true Redskin": Aging journeyman skill position player who wouldn't make the roster of most "good" teams and lacks any discernible above average skills. And he loves Jesus. See "Thrash, James."
"They're playing the best football in the league right now": This week's opponent.
Very well done. In the meantime, the weekly Joe Gibbs show on Redskins Radio didn't feature much about true Redskins this week, but the coach did say that the Detroit Lions are "happier than a pig in mud," that "the most exciting thing I do is go sleep," that "we would like for the offense to be as productive as it was last Sunday" when they scored 23 in overtime (although granted, they did rack up some nice yardage), and that "the Jets are capable of beating a lot of people" and should not have been referred to as "lowly" in the media last week.
