Preseason Local Hoops Poll
This wouldn't be the Local Hoops Spectacular Atlantic 11 Preseason Poll if there weren't some hiccups along the way. In this case, a few of our intrepid voters (21, actually) seem to have voted for their Top 10 in reverse order, giving us a Top 11 that may as well have been chosen by blindfolded monkeys, or robotic cranes, or AP poll voters. But hey, this is the Internet, where statistical falsehoods are considered quirky and even a bit cute.
In all honesty, Intern Boris and I figured that enough of our 68 voters followed instructions correctly that this would be, more or less, what the real tally would have looked like. So I planned to just print the faulty totals. But then I figured Gary Williams wouldn't like that very much, and since the name of this blog was already inspired by Ralph Friedgen, well, I didn't need to go there. So instead I spent well north of an hour fixing faulty top 11 poll voters from readers with names like "The Thigh Master" and "Caps Nut." I love my job.
The RPI does not yet exist, and I'm sick of talking about the AP and coaches' poll tallies, so I'm just going to go ahead and post our rankings, after the jump. First place votes in parentheses.
