Testudo's Having a Bar Mitzvah

So I'm at U. of Maryland to speak to a college journalism class about blogging. First, I had to read and write comments on their practice blogs. Nothing makes snappy blogging leap off a computer screen like printing it out and turning it in to your professor, that's for sure.

But the event--which will take me away from this computer for an hour or two--was well worth it, because I saw a flier advertising the fact that Maryland mascot Testudo will be Bar Mitzvahed early next month!!!!!! Cue Halle Barry saying she always thought that turtle had a prominent facial feature. If this doesn't end up matching Mr. Met's Bhangra for sheer spectacularitude, I will personally picket the University of Maryland Hillel while wearing a Demon Deacon costume.
