Portis on Gibbs
From his recent NFL.com feature:
Q: What does it mean to be a running back for Joe Gibbs?
CP: I think Coach Shanahan is probably one of the top coaches in the NFL. But I think Joe Gibbs is probably one of the top people in life, just for the knowledge, the faith, the love of the game, everything that he stand for.

As I life-long Redskins fan, I, and all of us, owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to coach Gibbs. We love you, man. But we understand the terrible strain that coaching entails. Now it is time for God and your family. We wish you the very best.
God bless.

A poignant comment from Portis?
Maybe the NFL Network wouldn't be such a bad investment.
