Today's Top Five: Juwan Howard Commercial

1) More vintage commercials: Juwan Howard promotes reading the fine print of the NBA rules regarding free agent signings, at Bullets Forever.

2) The Washington Kastles is indeed a strange nickname for a pro tennis franchise, but perhaps since they're named after a security company the logo should be not a castle, or even a Kastle, but instead a Kastle security card. So argues NotionsCapital.

3) If I'm not mistaken, the Barra Brava are tailgating for a D.C. Rollergirls event at the Armory this weekend. That ought to be mildly curious. Via BigSoccer.

4) Redskins: Burgundy and Gold since the first sentence of the first game-day story in 1937. From my enemies at the City Desk blog.

5) The Nats sign Jim Bowden's rolodex. Ball-Wonk via DCBB.
