Today's Top Five: New Skins Bloggers

Just because both of these first two blogs have tremendous names.....

1) The Internet is for Zorn! Great name, but, oddly, he doesn't want Chad Johnson, asking whether "maybe, just possibly, are there OTHER wide receivers who might fit the team better than Johnson, even if they don't all have stylish mohawks and attractive grills? I know this a crazy, outlandish thought, but let's poke around and see." Nah, let's just sign Johnson. But great blog name.

2) Maroon & Black! Also a tremendous name, although those particular colors make this blog next to impossible to read. Recent argument: Sherman Smith's name "has plausible deniability written all over it."

3) Not a blog, but every local media outlet save this blog attended Giant Racing President Head tryouts yesterday. I had already done it, so I boycotted. WUSA, meantime, caught up with Teddy and did a video piece on his offseason regimen.

4) Jim Bowden wears athletic suits. Capitol Punishment offers up this potential description: "The love child of Vito Spatafore and Captain Kangaroo."

5) Dmitri Young has a large belly. Lindsay Czarniak via Mister Irrelevant. Plus, Lindsay has photos of Rich Campbell (Fredericksburg), Mark Zuckerman (WaTi) and Howard Fendrich (AP).

By far the most amazing thing to come out of all those links is the fact that L-Czar has never tried a corndog before in her life. Never before Sunday? Really?

That's nuts. What is America coming to?

Oh, and I personally pledge now that if Nationals Park or RFK opens a corndog stand, I will singlehandedly keep said stand in business.

Call up the crew from Supersize Me. I think we have a sequel to make.
