Hoyas at the Half

Georgetown leads 40-29 at the half, and you don't really need to be sitting here to figure out that if these guys make 63 percent of their three-pointers, they're gonna be awfully tough to beat.

Chris Wright remains quicker than Ryan Seacrest's shout-outs to Cowell, and had three assists without a turnover in his first half back. He gives the Hoyas a whole different look, and you don't really need to be sitting here to figure out that if Georgetown has 15 field goals on 13 assists per half, they're gonna be awfully tough to beat.

And Jon Wallace? Seven of eight from the field with 19 points? You know, if he's scoring, this team is gonna be awfully tough to beat.

Villanova, meantime, seems entirely drained after that Syracuse yesterday. If they're trying to make a final statement to the committee, it's not really showing. Maybe it was the refs' fault.
