Kournikova to D.C.

Kournikova koming kloser.

By trotting out first Serena Williams, and now (as a visiting player, but still) Anna Kournikova, the Washington Kastles are making a bid to kompletey dominate the July sports kalendar in the District. In upkoming moments, the World Team Tennis Kastles, our newest pro sports franchise, will announce that Kournikova will join the St. Louis Aces on kourt for their July 23 match against the Kastles. What a koup. Lots of kasual sports fans will want to katch that event, for reasons that are probably less than klean and not entirely kommendable.

It seems unlikely that Serena will be here for that match, due to a WTA kommitment the same week. Serena, though, will be making her Kastles debut July 8 against the Boston Lobsters, whose team name is kuriously spelled korrectly.

Wonder if the Kaps' new addition, Sergei Fedorov, whom Kupid has separated from his former kuddle-buddy and who recently arrived from Kolumbus, will ko-habitat with his one-time kutie when she komes to D.C.
