DeShawn's Face Gets Felt

This might be a good time for DeShawn to start not feeling his face, because everyone else in this series has already completely lost face feelings. For example, and with thanks to Odenized, we have TNT's Ernie Johnson not feeling his face. And LeBron James not feeling his face. And Damon Jones, of all people, not feeling his face, as witnessed above.

Surely the Wiz must have taken offense at the Cavs so openly mocking one of their starters, right?

"If you lose by (30), he has a right to do anything he wants," Antawn Jamison said.

At least the media hasn't piled on, right, Akron Beacon-Journal-Messenger-Star-Tribune?

The same guy who called James overrated has shot 14-for-62 in playoff games against the Cavaliers -- 22.6 percent on your radio dial. His team has lost eight in a row to the Cavs. And he's going to wave his hand in front of his face to James?

Please.

By game's end the Cavs were having fun with Stevenson's wave. Damon Jones did it after a late 3, and James did it on his way into the locker room.

But at least the attacks haven't devolved into the ridiculous, right, Mike Looking Beyond the Score Celizik?

They're an embarrassment, mostly to themselves, but also to their city and their game. If you're going to roll over and die, at least have the dignity to do it like gentlemen.

Have you seen their road uniforms? I've seen garbage scows that are prettier than the abominations the Wizards dress in. You'd think they'd know that anybody who wears uniforms that ugly should sit quietly in the corner and hope nobody notices them. The Washington Generals have better uniforms than the muddy gold and black and white and star-spangled and striped clown suits the Wizards take on the court. Where'd they get the color scheme, from Duracell? One thing is sure: they were designed by a committee - of color-blind second graders

Well, at least no media members have gone completely batty, forgetting, for example, that the Kings lost their first two first-round games to the Spurs two years ago--one loss coming by 34 points--and yet still managed to hold serve at home, right, Cleveland Plain-Blue-Dealer's-Choice?

In Monday's Game 2, instead of fighting back with basketball skills, Brendan Haywood went Maurice Lucas (look him up young people) and pushed LeBron James on a layup attempt. When it comes to the Wizards, Game 2 was not a wake-up call. It was a precursor to the end of the season and the next round for the Cavs against the Boston Celtics.

If Haywood is suspended for Game 3 by the league office, a victory on Thursday in Washington is guaranteed. The Wizards don't have anyone to defend Zydrunas Ilgauskas inside and the absence of Haywood would be a free pass. So if you had plans to see a Game 5 against the Wizards here in Cleveland, cancel now because the Wizards already have.

Listen here, DeShawn. These people are throwing you a lifeline. They're brazenly feeling your face. They're telling you it's over. They're making fun of the jerseys that your team's leaders selected themselves. For the love of Yayo, you've got to start not feeling your dang face already.

It's times like this when I think to myself, "At least I don't live in Cleveland."

The face numbness is a side effect of the sodium pentobarbital. Sleep well, sweet princesses.

Ernie, don't cry, we'll get you another superstar. Would you like that?

Only the Wizards can get punked by Damon Jones. Pathetic.

Looking forward to Verizon tomorrow night - 25% Cleveland fans, 25% actual Wizards fans, 25% people that don't know what they're doing there/just rooting for LeBron, 25% empty seats.

Game, blouses.

Probably closer to 100% empty seats... the game's not till Thursday.

Fair point, well argued.

I'm just going to have to start drinking for it tomorrow.

maybe the wizards can offer discount tickets to caps fans who show up tonight for a playoff game that matters.

DeShawn Stevenson: an excellent example of why smack-talkin' before the fact is pretty damn stupid.
Wizahtch, please stand up for yourselves and save some can't-be-felt face. Pretty please. Seriously.

After the great season the Wiz had despite the injuries, who would have thought it would come down to this? I can't answer my phone becuase of the countless good humored ribbing I have gotten because of that joke of a performance the Wiz gave last night. I still don't know what to say other than despite the ugly game, the stupid Deshawn drama and the horrid uniforms, I still love my Wiz and will until the day I die. WIZ FAN FOR LIFE! Come on guys, show some DC pride. Look to the Caps for inspiration and don't roll over and give in. FIGHT DAMMIT! FIGHT!

Is the Cleveland Plain Dealer belating criticizing Eddie Jordan's decision to bench Haywood in Game 4 last year? How funny is it that Haywood has been the team's best player this series?

At times like this I'm a Bullets fan for life since most Cleveland fans became fans in 2003 and don't remember all the (relatively)good Cleveland players and teams from the past.

Wow, that's laughable man. The Wizards have fans? Could have fooled me. You don't think Cavs fans remember our history? Have you ever heard of Michael Jordan? No? Don't Wizards fly on brooms or something? How convenient for Game 4. What a joke of a team.

I can't believe you wizards "fans" even think this is some kind of rivalry its no rivalry until you can actually win a series- and i don't understand how you guys can consider yourselves "fans" when all you do is whine and make excuses everytime we stick it to those thugs. The refs, David Stern, Injuries, Lebron, etcetc. Why don't you stop making excuses and just face the fact you are not better than us...and the same goes to your football team and expos
