United Players Are Excited

If all's it takes to get goofy pictures of United's foreign stars is a new corporate sponsorship, I say we make this a weekly feature. This week VW (ding), which joins Adidas; next week Der Spiegel, and the following week Ritter Sport. Anything to get the word "Joghurt" on the DCU kit.

Furthermore, what would be the proper celebration for corporate-sponsor-hating Alecko Eskandarian to break out should he score a goal in RFK? I'm currently torn between lifting up his jersey to reveal a BMW t-shirt, flashing the "V-dub in da haus" hand sign and then slashing his throat a la DeShawn Stevenson, being tossed a replica toy bug from the sideline and then stomping on it, or screaming out "Beep Beep [bleeper bleepers]."

Anyhow, courtesy Behind the Badge and its Flickr gallery, here are goofy photos of United's foreign stars.

Does this mean 'Da da da' is the new theme song of the team?

How cool would it be if Barra Brava started singing that during the game?

Yo stick do you see how much money they get wearing that ad?
Are you also aware of the free parking for VW's @ RFK on gameday?
Whoopdedoo is right.

Hideous! That's the only thing I can say about it...other than the fact that this is the first time I've seen beans and frank in the volkswagon logo.

At least parking is free on Thursday, I see nothing good coming of it--unless you bring in a ticket stub and get a free tank of gas.

i don't think stick understands the concept of a sponsor logo on a footy kit....if only some people knew how dumb they sounded when they make comments like that..look at ANY top club in the world buddy (except barca) and you'll see a "ad"

Gallardo's pic makes him look like the bastard son of Kirk Hammet and Angus Young.
