A Few Words About Olympic Parties

Sadly, I didn't spend as much time this month at wild, champagne-pouring-from-the-rafters parties as I had anticipated. In fact, mostly I either skipped the parties, or forgot about the parties, or spent the parties standing outside on red carpets and marveling at the prodigious size of Beijing insects that were trying to mate with my leg.

Oh, and also asking questions to famous athlete type people about just what to expect from the Olympics social scene. Featured responders here include famous swimmers Natalie Coughlin, Lenny Krayzelburg, Brendan Hansen and Cullen Jones; famous gymnast Justin Springs; and famous sprinter Carl Lewis.

Dan, since the parties aren't your thing, can the Post send me as your sidekick to cover all that news? I am up for the challenge of partying til 7am with the athletes and their groupies.

Dan - enjoyed watching the bugs try mating with your legs - sorry you lost some cash at the Rock paper scissors finals. The Bud Guys
