Chinese Olympic Athletes Embrace Hair Craze

The first Chinese modern pentathlon haircut I've ever published.
So it turns out that pre-pubescent boys aren't the only ones in China who have embraced this "shaving Olympic logos into our heads" trend. Chinese Olympic competitors are also on board.
At some point this week (days hazy), I randomly ran into the famous Chinese modern pentathlete Qian Zhenhua in the street. He shook my hand. I asked him if I could take a picture of his hair. He faced me. I asked him if he could, you know, turn around, so I could take a photo of the good stuff. Well done, Qian.
By the way, Qian's progress in the sport is worth noting as you prepare for the modern pentathlon competition to begin. At 2000 in Sydney, he faulted in equestrian and finished dead last at the age of 20. In 2004, he placed 16th in Athens. In 2005, he became the first Asian to win a world title in the usually European-dominated sport of modern pentathlon.
"My victory demonstrates that Chinese athletes are able to make a mark in the world of modern pentathlon," he said following his victory, according to the Chinese press.
