Gary Williams Discusses the Olympics

Before a serious event like the Olympic Games, it's good to take the pulse of some of our most important sports personalities, mining their minds for insight into the very important events to come. When I sat down for a conversation with Maryland Coach Gary Williams a few weeks back at the AT&T National, I briefly turned the conversation toward the Olympics. The results are above.

Thanks to Comcast SportsyNet for making this happen.

Also, our new and awesome blog software is apparently having some issues with YouTube, so if this embed doesn't play for you, you can check the video out here.

Is Greivis Vasquez still playing for Venezuela? Maybe MD fans can root for them instead.

I'm not aware of any [thirteen-letter gerund expletive] law that says I have to root for Coach Ratface under any circumstances. On the other hand, rooting for Hugo Chavez's boys isn't a much better option. I'm going with Lithuania (=Sarunas Jasikevicius).
