Andray Blatche Had a Nice Birthday Party

Still waiting, with anxious hope, for photos of last weekend's joint Clinton Portis/Jason Taylor birthday party to appear, but in the meantime, there were more missed birthday parties during the China weeks. Like, for example, Andray Blatche's 22nd.

Which was to be expected, because the one thing Andray Blatche really needed to finally elevate his game to the next level was photos of himself with extensive letter "A" bling and a tank top, hosting a birthday party whose guests reportedly included Gilbert Arenas, Michael Beasley, Kevin Durant, Big Tigger, Redskins rookie receiver Devin Thomas and model Gloria Velez. Now that that's crossed off the list, no more excuses.

Since Gilbert broke out the ice sculpture, he's been followed in date-of-birth festivities by DeShawn Stevenson, Caron Butler and now 'Dray. So anyhow, your move, Pecherov. Your team is home and off on Dec. 8 this year. I can't wait. Bring extra borscht.

And the ratio of DC-area major sports championships to Cleveland-area major sports championships in the last 50 years is like infinity. Infinity being what results when the first number is greater than zero (four, in this case) and the second number is not.

Also, I can't believe Andrey Blatche found Chandra Levy!
