Clinton Portis's Favorite Color

Well, I'm going to guess it's yellow, anyhow. Yellow shoes? Yellow undershirt? Um, bright yellow watch to accompany his purple and yellow post-game press conference t-shirt? Yes, yes and yes.
And yeah, he was sweating a bit during his press conference.
"I think I got tired early and really couldn't catch a second wind, man," he said. "It was hot out there. It's hot in here. I don't know if the AC work, but it's hot in here."
A few minutes later he was asked about Ladell Betts.
"Ladell played a major role today," Portis said. "He was like, 'Man I'll start the drive off,' because really I was, like, WINDED. He was like, 'I'll start the drive off man, you just come in and finish it.' "
Jason La Canfora asked about using both backs at the same time; "Not on the hottest day I ever played on," Portis said. "We both can't be blowed."
One more post-game quote worth noting, and this one gives new meaning to the Redskins pledge to provide the world with unfiltered comment. If you watch the post-game locker room video on Redskins.com TV, you might notice Santana Moss answering a question about the play call on that fourth quarter fourth-and-two.
"Oh man, I was just in the huddle, I was like, 'Let's finish guys!' " Moss said. "We broke it down and they, say 'X Slant,' and I'm like [Bleep!], it's on me!"
Except on Redskins.com TV, he doesn't say [Bleep!]. That's unfiltered for ya.

"We both can't be blowed."
I don't know precisely when this usage of this word entered the sports media lexicon, but it makes me uncomfortable. Though I can't say whether I find "blowed/he needs a blow/he gets a blow" more discomfiting than "slurping" (in the sense of media kissing up) or "length" (in the sense of an athlete's, uh, physical dimensions). Maybe it's just me.

Nate it sounds like you are due up for a trip to one of the fine *dancing* establishments in your fine city to set you STRAIGHT.
Is the Acropolis still the lovely establishment I visited in 2002?
A little steak and legs up on sniffer's row will have you not worrying about how blowed these dudes are getting in a heart beat.
