Horny for Zorny Shirts

Following last week's sighting of the Zorn Star t-shirt outside Giants Stadium, why not provide a link to these Horny for Zorny t-shirts? The offense might not be hot, but that doesn't mean your wardrobe shouldn't be.

And to pad this post, here's Jim Zorn's comments today on whether he was tempted to go for it on several third fourth-and-short situations last week.

"Listen, I really thought about those three situations, but we were playing good defense and our punter was putting the team back and making them go the long distance and I didn't want to put our defense in a position where the team had to go half the field," he said. "And it wasn't about being criticized in the press for that, it was mainly the smart thing to do. And as much as I hated it--you know, it was like fourth-and-a-half [yard]--you know, I had to do it.

"Plus, they were getting into the neutral zone very very fast, and we even had a third and one where it was fourth and one, we didn't get an inch. And you can't have long developing plays in that kind of situation, because then you're relying on a little luck or a guy missing. So you have to be very very sure. It wasn't worth it. It was much more worth them going a long field, and it proved out to be right. It was just a frustration. Those were the things that kept us from sustaining. I was only tempted on that inches one. It was about six inches. I was really tempted on that one, but still, I had to punt it."

It's one thing to make the go the long distance when they can't do it. It's another to make them go the long distance, they score, and then you can't go the 10 yards distance.

Zorn = Failure.

I'm buying one for the game on Sunday. For the six of us in my group, whoever drinks the fewest beers at the tailgate has to wear the shirt during the game.

I think it might replace the pink shirt we make guys wear when they strike out at slow pitch softball.

Good to see you're ripping off the junkies idea. Shows tons of originality. And next time, can you pick a cuter t-shirt model?

Looks like the Junks were ripped off! They registered their Domain name on the day they talked about it on the show - Feb 14, 2008. These guys who ripped them off didn't order their shirts until August 10th, 2008 from an online shirt retailer. Cakes's Trademark registration went through on August 22nd. As soon as it is finalized, the Junks can legally sue for damages from the date of their first use (i.e. Feb 14th) - meaning let them sell all the shirts they want - cause the profits + damages + attorney's fees will all go to Junks anyway!

The Junkies were way ahead of the curve on this one. Just give them the credit they deserve!
