D.C. Becomes Most Miserable Sports City

Editors' note: In a rare confluence of great Post blogging ideas, Steinberg and Baseball Insider Tom Heleba posted on the very same topic this morning -- the fact that the Phillies' World Series victory (sort of) makes D.C. the city with the longest major-American-sport title drought.

So we have moved all the discussion of the topic to Tom's post on the BI (he paid me more). Go there, vote in the poll, comment, etc ...

Thanks,

Jon DeNunzio

I just love the fact that LA can't even make the list.

Come on now, as if "sports" championships other than football really count for anything. Philly fans can celebrate all they want, the Eagles still haven't won a single Super Bowl.

As someone who's neck-deep in sports blogging, especially D.C.-based sports blogging, I've gotta ask: WTF is Baseball Insider and why is it Fing with the Bog?
