Morning Look: London's Calling (and Puking)

Fletcher and Marcus Washington, after victory was clinched. (By Preston Keres - TWP)

I don't have the stomach to actually post Brian Murphy's incredible photo-journalism that displays London Fletcher's "I'm SUCH a vomit guy" words way better than mere text ever could. Please go look, as long as you don't mind a little vomit. It's awesome.

Instead, here are two shots of Fletcher from Sunday's win, along with some of Fletcher's words yesterday, when he was brought in to address the media during a ghost town Victory Monday. And I have no idea why, with thousands of Redskins fans in the house, some young Lions fans wound up with Fletcher's gloves, nor do I know why they wanted them. C'mon, kids. Have some conviction.

On Jim Zorn: "He's a different type of coach, a different personality. He's a little [more] free-spirited, so to speak, than some of the other head coaches I've had in the past. But you like that about him. He is who he is. He's not trying to be somebody else. He didn't all of the sudden become a head coach and try to become a Bill Cowher so to speak. He is who he is, week in and week out, Hip Hip Hooray and all that. That's him. That's who he is."

On this free spirit: "Everything is not for the media to know. He'll do some things in our team meeting room, when he's giving an example or telling a story, that's a little different."

On the Redskins: "We're not a great football team. We understand that. We're a good football team who has the ability to be great."

1. I hope he makes the Pro Bowl. Real classy guy playing extremely well.

2. What happened to Fletcher-Baker?

I love London Fletcher! He is everywhere on the field at once, what an amazing player. And obviously a nice guy too! He better go to Hawaii this January or there is no justice in the world.

"C'mon, kids. Have some conviction."

Dude, they needed the Skins to hold onto that one to get to their perfect unvictorious season. That was close. Way to go, London! Knock the crud outta our best receiver on 4th down and gimme some candy.
