Nats: Longest Odds to Win 2009 World Series

No, this never gets old for me. (By Jonathan Newton - TWP)

Honoring my pledge never to post anything about the Nats that doesn't fit into the exciting "Steinberg hates the Nationals" storyline, here are some odds for winning the 2009 World Series, that I just received from BetUs.com. Check out the Nats' odds especially. Warning: your finger might get weary from scrolling down.

Boston Red Sox 3/1
Chicago Cubs 5/1
L.A. Angels 5/1
Philadelphia Phillies 6/1
New York Yankees 6/1

Tampa Bay Devil Rays 10/1
Chicago White Sox 10/1
New York Mets 12/1
Milwaukee Brewers 15/1
Minnesota Twins 15/1

L.A. Dodgers 15/1
Toronto Blue Jays 20/1
Detroit Tigers 25/1
Florida Marlins 30/1
Houston Astros 30/1

St. Louis Cardinals 30/1
Cleveland Indians 30/1
Atlanta Braves 30/1
Arizona Diamondbacks 40/1
Colorado Rockies 40/1

Texas Rangers 50/1
Cincinnati Reds 50/1
Oakland Athletics 50/1
San Francisco Giants 80/1
Kansas City Royals 100/1

Baltimore Orioles 100/1
Seattle Mariners 100/1
San Diego Padres 100/1
Pittsburgh Pirates 200/1
Washington Nationals 300/1

I mean, heck, bet the $10 and cross your fingers, right? Sure, if they finish last you get nothing, but it's only $10; the Nats paid $5 million to get nothing from Paul Lo Duca. And think about how excited you'd be during those first two weeks of the season.

(And for all the talk of the improbable Rays going worst-to-best? They were only 250-1, at least when this dude made his bet.)

Please head over here to keep the votes coming for the Nats to be D.C.'s next "Big-Four" world champion. And yeah, the Nats seem to have gotten a few votes. Thanks for visiting, JimBHalfStreet.

I got a bad feeling about the nats ownership. Anyone dumb enough to duild that $*!% hole known as tysons can't be that good at knowing how to invest $.

dude, do you know how much money the lerners have made on tysons? it's massive. tysons corner was nowhere when they built there and look at it know. it's a $*!% hole, but its made them a TON of cash. just like the nats (nowhere), lets hope they can create something out of nothing like they did in tysons.

Dan, seriously, what is your problem with the Nats? If you want to report these odds, by all means go for it, but why do you need to be such a snarky jerk when doing it? Using a rain delay picture of empty stands is really silly. Not to mention that the Caps and Wiz have had their own attendance problems in the recent past, and scoring a ticket at FedEx wasn't exactly difficult until recently. Did you ever focus on that?

Do you want Nats fans to read your blog? Or do you just want us to tell you where you can shove your veggie burrito?
