A Final Dose of Political Football

(By Haraz N. Ghanbari - AP)
I wrote last night about some of the political displays around about FedEx Field, but I obviously missed many more. The strangest? The giant "O" Obama banner hanging from the upper deck, right next to the placard honoring George Marshall, who had to be threatened into desegregating his team by the Interior Department.
Anyhow, it should be a while until we see political placards in FedEx Field, aside from those Vote the Redskins Ticket! Pro Bowl thingies, so let's take one final look. With 90 k in the house, I had no chance at capturing all the weirdness, but the wire photographers did a nice job. Here's some of their work.

Was the all-red uniforms some kind of political statement by Snyder? I hope they don't do that combination again, because it looks hideous. I don't mind the all-white, but the red uniform jersey need to have the white pants. But, since they lost they probably won't wear that combo again.
