Skins-Dallas: Seats Still Available

After the crush of publicity about the invading hordes during the Pittsburgh game, the organization is taking steps to ensure that won't happen during this week's national television appearance. As you can see, they're targeting actual Redskins fans to let them know that, string of 8 zillion sellouts in a row or not, seats are still available to the game without resorting to StubHub. See the image, from a recent e-mail blast, above.

Of course, when you follow the link, what you find is $375-plus club-type seats that have evidently been returned by Dallas. But if you want to get your free burgundy towel and help preserve regional pride, you'll gladly pay those prices. The "Loge Seats" are only $495. Live a little.

This is nothing new, I get this same email for ALL of the games at home.

This has been going on for years, I got these same emails last year too.

Visiting team returns? That must be a joke.

Try overpriced seats where no one was dumb enough to buy season ticket plans for them.

I've been getting these emails all season. I think the Redskins give all the seats where they can't sell season ticket plans to visiting teams (and thus can still claim "sell-outs"). Then they take back what the visitors can't sell and make one last ditch effort to fill up those "yellow" seats that no one wants because they are priced at twice what the normal "red" seats go for.

Hmmm, they just sent out another mass email trying to sell tickets...coincidence?

They are all premium seats that Danny can't sell due to being over priced. If the Owners don't want visiting fans in the seats they shouldn't advertise StuHub at the games. It's just more revenue for the wealthy Owners. What Redskins fan wouldn't sell their seats to Dallas or Pittsburgh when knuckleheads pay 3 to 4 times face value? Please.

I am a season ticket holder (upper deck) and I get this email EVERY week there is a home game.

It is nothing new. They always say it is due to "Visiting Team Returns". But I always wonder about that.
