Sort of a rough start to the offseason for Vinny Cerrato, from his team's Web site promoting a video of a fan calling for Cerrato's job, to his team's message board promoting an idea, first promoted by his team's radio station, that Cerrato should be fired. That's a new media triple-teaming, sponsored and paid for by the Washington Redskins.

The inevitable Wiki vandalism, though, was presumably an outside job. As I started typing this entry, the "Personal" section of Cerrato's Wiki page included the following information, although by the time I hit publish it was already gone:

Cerrato has a wife and a son.

Cerrato absolutely sucks and has seemingly no idea how to run a professional football franchise. It is pretty much accepted as fact within the Redskins fanbase that as long as Cerrato is in power, this team will continue to struggle with their traditional medicore talent, while also continuing to make nonsensical personnel decisions within their inept front office.

The only thing worse than medicore talent is medicore spell-check devices, I always say. Anyhow, expect a lovely three-month tango between fans and their beloved front office. I'm just waiting for the first "Kindergarten Ninja" clips to surface.
