Morning Look: Redskins Closeout Sale

Sports Producer Lindsay Applebaum:

Perhaps those $99 Pro Bowl jerseys didn't fly off the shelves, because new items are on sale at the Redskins Store.

Fred Smoot rocks the Blue Steel.

As advertised: Extra 10% Off the Final Closeout Sale on, Now Thru This Weekend!

A few highlights:

- "Believe in Now" t-shirt, modeled by Fred Smoot, right, for $8. So when is now? Now as in this past 8-8 season? Next season? Maybe Vinny Cerrato should wear it during the draft as a reminder.

- "Rack 'Em" t-shirt with each billiard ball representing one of the Redskins' 2008 opponents. Just in case everyone at the pool hall forgot about that loss to the Rams. Great conversation piece, just $10.

Marcus Washington just made varsity!

- A framed and matted composite photo of 10 Redskins players "including Santana Moss, Clinton Portis, Sean Taylor and Chris Cooley." And some other guys who won't be on the team next year. A steal at $60!

- If you buy the Redskins "Feature Leather Jacket," pictured left, you, too, can look like Marcus Washington looking like The Fonz. Was $299, now on sale for $199.

Act now! Or wait another week.

Hey, look, the Nats have a clearance sale on! No player models, but how about a set of shot glasses and a Nationals hammer? Perhaps surplus outfielders will be next?

Everyone talks about how much they hate Dan Snyder, but then they go and buy a bunch of Skins merchandise. Don't support that idiot anymore.
