Today's Top 5: Cooley Goes to Caps Game, Hilarity Ensues
Sports producer Lindsay Applebaum here with today's top five D.C. sports-related things on the Internet, except you can pretty much forget about the last four because today's No. 1 link is overwhelmingly awesome:
1) Chris Cooley goes to the Caps game, and. . . just read the blog post recapping the evening. Please. (Okay, a few highlights: Tries to break into locker room to steal Alex Ovechkin's stick, insults "ugly" Cowboys fan, accidentally leaves car running in Vienna Metro parking lot for nine hours.) I get this feeling that the offseason is going to be very, very kind to us. (The Cooley Zone)
2) Bloggers catch on to the Oleksiy Pecherov-Stewie Griffin phenomenon (see here). Personally, I think Stewie is way more of a baller. (Ball Don't Lie)
3) The Wizards' season is "just like the circle of life, except its not really a circle, its more like the Red Line to Shady Grove, but you get mugged at every single stop." (Wizznutzz)
4) A Skins fan's Philly hater's guide to the NFL final four. (Mr. Irrelevant)
5) Baltimore fan makes a case for Redskins fans supporting the Ravens in the playoffs, which helps explain why Washingtonians dislike Baltimore fans so much. (Stet Sports)

I've come to expect such nonsense from the Post's resident Sports producer slash guest bogger. Every time I start to read, "Lindsay Applebaum here," I feel my eyes instinctly begin to roll into the back of my head. Lindsay, just let the stuff speak for itself and quit trying to be witty! PLEASE.

Am I detecting a Tucker Max reference?
