See Screech Dance

You may not have been at the ESPN Zone this afternoon when teenage Screech was unveiled, but you can pretend that you were. Video from Nationals Pride.

Please tell me that someone also recorded the audiences' reaction to this. That would be much more entertaining.

Even Gunston laughs at new Screech.

If you had bogged about Screech while in Florida, you would have gotten more hits.

That vapidly gaping maw will haunt my dreams tonight. "Adults aren't cool!" New-Look Screech will squawk, over and over again, closer and closer until its beak is prying open my eardrums and jackhammering its mantra into my cracked, leaking skull.

A better mascot would be Cliff's disembodied head, paraded around between innings on the end of a long pole - one longer than his actual neck. That would really get the fans pumped up.

How can you at least not learn the the Thriller dance and the Napolean Dynamite dance routines???

Take a look at the PSU Nittany Lion doing Thriller. NIGHT AND DAY. Nationals FAIL again.

I don't really have a problem with new Screech, but I'm not so sure about the idea of associating a mascot with Michael Jackson.

so this is teenage screech -is he going to continue to "grow up" and if so do we get a new mascot when he dies? i can see it now: drunk/college aged screech, yuppie screech, middle aged fat screech, screech in a wheelchair, screech's funeral...

Glad to see that Screech can remove his hat. Not only does it look slick during dance routines, but that guy who always use to ask Barry Svrluga during his chats why Screech didn't take his hat off during the national anthem will be happy.
