LeBron Doesn't Make Every Trick Shot

"Honestly, this is getting a little creepy," the estimable J.E. Skeets wrote, after LeBron's 60 Minutes shot made it three-Internet trick shot sensations in like four weeks.

So while listening to Cavs Coach Mike Brown this morning, I saw LeBron triple bouncing basketballs down the length of the court, trying to get them to slide into the ball rack. Which is, of course, a near-impossible task. Still, the first attempt I watched came incredibly close to going in, hitting the metal bars above and below the slot before rattling out. I figured I should start rolling, just in case. The results are below.

(And incidentally, the Buffalo Sabres are in town for tomorrow's Caps game, and have all their gear at the Verizon Center, but had to skate in Ballston this afternoon. So more than a half-dozen of them gathered in one tunnel today to watch LeBron shoot. Real respect real.)

(Thanks to video whiz Jon Forsythe for the effects.)

Anybody know why LeBron doesn't wear #23 in practice?
