Dick Cheney Looks Happy at the Nats Game

Sunday photos by Evan Vucci - AP
On the first day of the first week of the Nats' time in the D.C. sports spotlight, I decided to look for some photos of National joy. This is what I came up with. I'm not sure if Dick Cheney has various levels of public surliness, but I've seen him look happier while discussing national security, the threat of terrorism, economic instability, political infighting and the decline of the U.S. jello industry.
(Note the self-control in not asking whether a blown-lead, errorific, 8-6, third- fourth-straight home loss to a regional rival constitutes torture.)
Adam Dunn meantime....you know, I don't have a line here. This is just a sad, sad photo. Maybe he was a big Danny Gokey fan and was just having a moment's reflection. Please, please, please don't tell me he's thinking about baseball.

You'd be sad too if you couldn't get a sausage shot out of a gun at you because a screen was there.

"NOW THAT's TORTURE"
Brilliant DCSports fan, brilliant.
We need to know if Pelosi was briefed that the Nats would be this bad.

Cheney was watching the 4th-straight home loss to a regional rival. Maybe Haliburton is looking into supplying bullpen support as their contracts in Iraq are ending.
