LeBron James in Silver Spring

LeBron came to Silver Spring last night, for the premiere of a movie about his high school team at SILVERDOCS. This makes me slightly reconsider my plan to move to Silver Spring. He also visited the White House. This makes me slightly reconsider my plan to run for office. Quoting the Plain Dealer:
The Cavaliers star looked happy and subdued, and a little self-conscious about the noticeable scar around his right ear, as he walked the red carpet before the premiere of "More Than a Game," the documentary about James and his high school basketball buddies at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron. The premiere kicked off the Silver docs Film Festival in Silver Spring, Md.
Here's a story about Silver Spring. You know that big gathering spot in the new downtown, just a few yards from AFI, in front of the Austin Grill, where there's that big fountain and lots of little kids and the huge staircase? There's a lot of steps there, and a lot of whining, but no NBA championship trophies. Weird.

He should've premiered it at Magic Theatre. That would've earned him a lot more respect among the stuck-up PG teenagers crowd.

Back when they had Mirror Testudo on the corner it was always full of people taking pictures and kids playing. I liked that.
