Nick Young's Mean Face

After all the hubbub about Flip Saunders saying that Nick Young smiles too much, and Nick's parents defending his happiness, the coach asked the player to make a mean face the other day. You know, just to see if he could do it. This is, approximately, how Young responded.

"I'm bringing that out [this season]," he promised, though I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing.

He can make any face he wants as long as he becomes are more intelligent player this season. Far too often he plays as if he has no clue what's going on on offense or defense. Don't settle for being a one-dimensional player, Nick!

I am more afraid of that shirt than that face.

Thats a nice shirt, but that "mean face" aint gonna cut it. he's going to get more than a few eyerolls on the court if he breaks that thing out.

The "Maybury" plaid is too happy of a shirt. I wonder if Andy, Barney or Aunt Bea picked it out for him? It must have been Andy since the others have entered into the pearly gates!

Nicks' a good guy...just hope he shines on the court like his shirt.

it still looks better than Kobe's scowl or LeBron's (when he's not grabbing his lip).

HaHaHa

You guys are too funny! I don't care if he smiles or frowns as long as he plays with passion, aggression and mental toughness because brother man did look a little lost on the floor quite a bit last year. I think he will be fine this season though. All of the Wiz needs to play with a little more attitude this coming season.

I'd like to see him play like he has teammates.

tell him to wear a mean face on the back of his head .. that's the only side his defenders will see after one of his crossovers.

sorry, no good on the face. It's obvious it's a 2 second look before he cracks up laughing. Keep smiling, and keep dropping over 20 a night, ignore the petty comments, and let Flip teach you the importance of defense. Start taking pride in 4 assists per night minimum, and then re-sign with the Wiz at a nice price for yourself.

That's not a mean face. He can't do a mean face. He looks like he's about to burst out laughing.
