Gilbert Arenas and Dwight Schrute

When I heard Gilbert Arenas and Rainn Wilson were doing a TNT spot together, I would have bet my powdered donut poster that it would have contained at least one laugh line. I would have been wrong. I first saw this on Friday night while watching baseball, and I was monumentally disappointed.

Still, I suppose I need to post it. (And I still have a huge stack of some other giveaway Gilbert posters. I'll give them to you for a donut.)

Far more humor is provided by this latest masterwork from the Wizznutzz, concerning various things that happened during the Wizards' time with a hypnotist named John-Ivan, including this:

Convinced DeShawn Stevenson that his tattoos were alive. Everyone watched in amazement as DeShawn talked animatedly to Abe Lincoln about how the world has changed since the former president got "clipped". John-Ivan lifted the trance before DeShawn could finish his walkthrough of season 3 of "Martin."

Not one laugh line? Really? Huh.

*I* thought it was funny, at least the "You're good for it." line.

But then, I'm a simpleton living out in the sticks, not some hardened and jaded sports blogger.

I had to watch it with the sound muted in my cubicle; I found it visually funny.

But the funniest part to me is that Rainn Wilson is doing advertisements for TNT's Thursday night basketball coverage, which competes directly against "The Office".
