Ovechkin's Olympic get-up is Jordanesque

So Alex Ovechkin shows up at the Olympics, and suddenly he's Michael Jordan or something?
Insane footwear? Check.

Insane accessorizing? Check.

Uh, this? Yeah, this. That's a check.
Only problem is someone else has already been given the Jordan mantle for these Games.
"His game has evolved in every year. He's a complete player, much like Michael Jordan in basketball. Every year, they tried to fine something wrong with his game, and he just kept getting better and better.
That's Steve Yzerman, talking about Sidney Crosby, via Puck Daddy. And maybe so, but he better start sticking his tongue out, I guess.

Darren Pang (one of those shifty Canadians) already did the Jordan comparison for Ovechkin years ago. You may remember this goal: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LTBUTy8QKgM
"His tongue's hanging like Michael Jordan." Though he also said "Holy jumpin'" ... so I suppose we can ignore some of the things he says.

Dan, watch him before a shootout some time, he DOES stick his tongue out. Hilarious.

I was expecting a Russian flag draped over an Adidas logo.
