Bidwell makes 20 Redskins specialists in 10 years

If you know the difference between a Pakulak and a Paulescu, you need to take a step back.
The Redskins signed punter Josh Bidwell on Tuesday. Best as I can figure, if he makes the roster, Bidwell would be the 20th kicker to wear burgundy and gold over the past decade. That strikes me as a lot of kickers. You've now got enough for a four-team a round-robin five-on-five basketball tournament. I'd take Ryan Plackemeier in the first round; dude can bang.
(And sure, I'll save you the energy from yelling at me: Some of these specialists were short-term injury replacements, others were late-season fill-ins, and who really cares, since no one ever said Super Bowls were won on the shoulders of punting consistency. I'm just saying, the people who stitch up the new uniforms in that place are earning their keep. And the kickers should form a boy band. Or a choir. Or make a documentary: "20 Questions; A Burgundy and Gold Joint.")
A brief, and hopefully comprehensive, summary:
