Boudreau: "There was nothing to be found"

Bruce Boudreau addressed the Polk County (Fla.) investigation into a local doctor during Wednesday morning's skate. It was a little noisy, so Boudreau's answers are transcribed below.

On his reaction to the investigation

"I don't know. Interesting. There was nothing to be found there. We cooperated fully. So hopefully it's done."

On whether this causes a distraction on the eve of the Penguins game

"Well, I think there shouldn't be anything to block out. I mean, we're not hiding anything. They interviewed players and myself yesterday and it should be done. So I have no qualms. We all told them the truth, and that's it."

On what he told investigators

"I just told 'em I didn't know anything, so that was it. I didn't even know the doctor was in our complex until yesterday. And I've never obviously used him as a chiropractor. So it was all news to me. Like you said, it's a wide net, and they were asking everybody, doing a thorough job, asking everybody that could be involved and getting some answers."

On whether postseason testing would help make steroid concerns go away

"It would go away if you guys go away. I mean, I don't now. I don't know if it's gonna go away. I think any time there's [legal] questions, you guys are gonna ask the questions, whether there's testing or not. [Media members] talk about it during the season and [players] get tested during the season, so why would they all of the sudden stop asking the questions even if they got tested during the postseason?"

Don't upset BlahBlahBlah6. He's a product of the poor economy. He was laid off from his job at the Quickie Mart. Dumb.

Btw, there's a position as Village Idiot in Polk County. Maybe you should apply?
