George Allen pictures never disappoint

(By Matthew Lewis - TWP)

Mike Wise's excellent column on Bruce Allen and Mike Shanahan working to mend old Redskins wounds was excellent for another reason: Post layout editors dug out yet another old George Allen photo. These are always good. It's not quite riding-a tricycle awesome, but it's good.

The column also struck a chord with longtime Redskins fans. Like, um, LaDonna Hale Curzon, the executive producer and host of Sarah Palin Radio. Here's a Tweet from her on Tuesday:

Good luck Bruce Allen! Washington Redskins need to heal past hurts/snubs if they are to be winners again. Let the healing begin. #Redskins

Agility three-cone drill baby drill! That's kind of like "Loosen up, Sandy, baby," right?

While searching for that above photo, I also came across this one, below, of Maake Kemoeatu. He's not small.
