The McNabb-Strahan Dr. Pepper ad
Sports Business Journal's report this week that Donovan McNabb's handlers are hoping for "a renaissance of the 11-year pro's reputation as a commercial endorser" was eye-catching, because it's been a while since this area had a pro athlete with a truly national endorsement presence. (Though John Wall ought to qualify.)
McNabb, the paper reported, has existing deals with Nike, Verizon, Novartis Pharmaceuticals, AirTran Airways, Mounted Memories, Playmaker Mobile and Yardbarker.com. Plus an upcoming Dr. Pepper spot with Michael Strahan. Here it is. (Via @ExtremeSkins)

Why does the woman in McNabb's Dr. P commercial speak with a man's voice?

Hope JC lights it up in Oakland; I could see him in some awesome new McNabb soup commercials.

From the looks of him in the commercial, seems like McNabb has been ordering a few too many pizzas. The retired Strahan looks to be in better shape.
