The Nats say "Let's Go Capps"
This "Let's Go Capps!" thing has been happening at Nats Park for a good deal of the season; the giant video board even plays along. If the Wizards would only sign former George Mason star Tony Skinn, it's like we'd all be one happy D.C. franchise together.
Also, in the movie version of this happy coincidence, Capps walks the bases loaded with a three-run lead in the top of the ninth of Game 7 of the World Series, and then suddenly the scoreboard shows Horn Guy and Goat parachuting out of a Slapshot-shaped blimp hovering over Nats Park, and in mid-air they lead a "Let's Go Capps!" chant and the Nats win and Ted Leonsis tackles Mark Lerner with happiness.
Until then, the scoreboard alert is pretty cool. Thanks to Cheryl Nichols from Nats News Network for the photo.
Though not all interactions between the two franchises are so smooth. Witness this letter, sent to....someone. Somewhere. It would be hard to squeeze many more errors into one mailing address. (Via @BillGluvna)
