Cris Carter: Haynesworth relationships "will be salvaged"
Really I'm just posting this so I can cross the name "Cris Carter" off the list in my quest to get 7 billion posts about reaction to Albert Haynesworth.
Also, because Carter performs the Fat Albert laugh twice in this video, which might be a first in the Modern Haynesworth Era.
If you're curious about his thoughts, he was of course critical of Haynesworth, and he was of course complimentary about Mike Shanahan and Donovan McNabb, and he did the Fat Albert laugh twice.
"He is there to play," Carter said, speculating about a potential Haynesworth return. "You know that in the NFL, you know at some point during the season all the guys aren't gonna be rowing in the right direction, so you get through that. Brett Favre missed all of training camp, we've had other guys that have missed training camp habitually. We understand. In football, we understand the personalities, we understand that there's gonna be a lot of different people, we understand that everybody is not gonna be a great teammate....
"His teammates will be great teammates, and they will invite him back into the fold to give him the opportunity to salvage the things that he's really hurt with his teammates in the locker room this season....We've seen worse work situations where guys have said things, came back. It will be salvaged."
Probably not, in my opinion, but at least you can listen to Carter's Fat Albert laugh.

HAYNESWORTH CHARTERS CHARITABLE FOUNDATION
ASHBURN, VA -- Washington Redskins defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth, in an apparent effort to rehabilitate his ever-worsening image with other players and fans, has decided to start his own charitable foundation.
Hayneworth's new non-profit organization, "G-Notes for G-Strings," will reportedly provide $1,000 grants to be used in lieu of maternity benefits and "Lap Dance Lamaze" classes for strippers who are forced to take time off from their profession to have the illegitimate children of NFL “Players.”
Haynesworth is also reportedly teaming with a few other NFL stars -- including Pittsburgh Steeler quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and former New York Giant defensive lineman Lawrence Taylor -- to develop and present "Cain't Touch Dat," a new educational program based on a popular 1970s era song performed by MC Hammer that is aimed at teaching high school athletes how to avoid prosecution for rape, sexual assault, domestic abuse, paternity claims, loan defaults, and other high profile crimes and offenses.
