Haynesworth sued by Tennessee bank

You know who's having a bad month? Albert Haynesworth.

Just within the past 30 days, he's been sued by a pregnant Brooklyn stripper, fined by his team for skipping a mandatory minicamp, and pilloried by every living and dead human who has ever played for, rooted for, or seen a Redskins game.

And now, a Tennessee bank is suing him, saying he hasn't made payments on a $2.38 million commercial loan.

The suit, reported by the Knoxville News Sentinel, alleges that Haynesworth has failed to follow the terms of an extension agreement, and that the bank is therefore entitled to a judgment of $2,408,143.38, which includes unpaid interest and late charges.

The News Sentinel reported that the suit was filed last week over a loan made last summer.

In other news, the lawyer for the man suing Haynesworth over a car crash e-mailed Hogs Haven's Kevin Ewoldt that his client is unable to return to his $9/hour job due to health issues.

"In comparison," the lawyer wrote, "Haynesworth says he won't show up to his job despite getting another $21 million 2 months ago - Wow."

Anyone else want a whack? I think there are still some smarties buried somewhere in that pinata.

Haynesworth will forever be known as Cerato's finest acquistion. That's what we think of both of them.

The kind of lawyer that a guy who makes $9 an hour can afford.....

It's all about character. A characteristic that this fat, lazy turd can never acquire.

There are no more smarties in the pinata, Fat Albert gobbled them all up.

The train wreck that is Albert Haynesworth's life is rapidly unfolding. The image that comes to mind is one of the bloated characters from the movie 7. Haynesworth's deadly sin: gluttony.

Albert Haynesworth is a sad reflection of a culture that rewards people who will run over or step on anyone in his way. I wonder what he sees when he looks in a mirror?

Posted by: dannykurland1 | June 22, 2010 12:19 PM | Report abuse

The only Thing FAT ALBERT sees when he looks in the Mirror is The Biggest Peice Of Dung the NFL has ever known and with A new CBA getting ready to go down FAt Albert just screwed Every other player in the NFL, YOu can bank that there will be a "Haynesworth Clause" in the new CBA

I understand Hamsworth has reached an agreement with the bank to pay off his loan over time with Big Macs.

One would say the WAPO is racist for examining certain sport players finances
but in this case one would say the report is racist for not disclosing any of the white sport players finances.

I am sure if Steinberg got off is fat lazy a## and did some investigating reporting e he would find some questionable financial practices of white players.

Stories like this makes the public question the racial ammus coming from WAPO reporters.

I don't care if there aren't any more Smarties, beat that pinata till it's confetti. I know Albert could care less but I hold hope, a slight sliver of hope that he reads all of this, watches all of this, listens to all of this and cries himself to sleep on his bed of cash money.

Anyone here a painter? Want to paint that image?

Posted by: Bigfoot_has_a_posse | June 22, 2010 12:56 PM | Report abuse

You know what is funny about this, Is all of these people who are cracking on AH on blogs will be all in his corner if he simply shows up at training camp and the skins go 3-0 and he gets a sack and a couple of key tackles and stops on third and 1. And I think we have run out of new fat jokes. Its a shame its going down this way. I was told by a buddy who lives in Vegas that he is living it up there as well as in florida. Its like all he wanted was to go to a team, get paid then hopefully get traded back to TN.

So, which white players have been fined for skipping minicamp or sued by pregnant strippers, car crash victims and banks?

There is no "examining" of anyone's finances going on here. And in particular no singling out black players over white. Just reporting of actual news of interest to anyone who follows the team.

It didn't have anything to do with race until you brought it up. It's got everything to do with his ethics, his moral code, what's on the INSIDE, not what color his skin is.

I can't believe you, so stupid.

Posted by: Bigfoot_has_a_posse | June 22, 2010 12:59 PM | Report abuse

Heres something that hits you, July 4 will mark the aniversary of the death of Steve McNair. I hard to believe that he is gone, just like that. It kind of just popped into my mind and I was like, Damm

Posted by: ged0386 | June 22, 2010 1:01 PM | Report abuse

This isn't about race at all, this is about Albert Haynesworth.

Posted by: 202character | June 22, 2010 1:04 PM | Report abuse

So I guess you missed the stories last year on the finances of Dan Snyder and the skins, his suing of fans, laying off of employees, etc, etc. You do the real struggle no favors when you post ignorance, brotha.

And the word you are looking for is animus, a-n-i-m-u-s.

Posted by: Predator48 | June 22, 2010 1:08 PM | Report abuse

Whatever race Albert is in right now, it does not look like he's winning it.

Posted by: perspective6 | June 22, 2010 1:11 PM | Report abuse

As each week goes buy Haynesworth becomes more damaged goods. Talk about a downward spiral. Three Options at this Point:

(1) Haynesworth gives back most of the $21 mil he just took and we trade him for a 5th or 6th rounder. This is best for everyone.

(2) Haynesworth says sorry to his team and the fans then shows up and works his b__t off.

(3) End his career. At this point he is paid, getting back the money will be difficult. Sit him on the practice squad and end his career. Do not cut him. He deserves to have his career ended whith him playing out years of his contract on the practice squad and being constantly fined for poor attitude.

Dude WTF are you talking about??? When it comes to A.H., everyone on here has been only concerned about race when it involves one of A.H. speed boats. Have you seen the paint jobs?? I bet he made those payments.

Posted by: MajorFacemask | June 22, 2010 1:19 PM | Report abuse

What does his race have to do with his being fiscally irresponsible?

Had he shown up to camp and had still been sued, it would have still made news only the headlines would have read 'Haynesworth worth a 100 mil but can't pay on a 2 mil loan'.

His karma is bringing him this attention, not his race...same as the Danny's karma has brought him.

If race plays an unfair role, then I'm all for exposing it. But it doesn't apply here.

The more I hear about Haynesworth, the more I realize how dumb he is.

Posted by: linroy62 | June 22, 2010 1:49 PM | Report abuse

Haynesworth WISHES he was being judged by the color of skin, because he sure as hell doesn't want to be judged by the content of his character.

Posted by: 202character | June 22, 2010 2:00 PM | Report abuse

Pathetic. Simply pathetic. The NFL and professional sports overall luckily have much more top character guys but doesn't one bad apple alongside a few rotten apples distort the team picture?

I hope the Redskins recover all funds paid to this piece of *%&$*. Money was a motivator to this guy so lets see how he likes it when he cant buy money for his gawdy boat.

Aside from the $21 million, of course.

He was unhappy with the terms of the loan and stayed away from mandatory payments in protest.

What a man! The more you hear about this self-absorbed jerk, the more you come to hate him - I wonder what his mama has to say aout him - did he cleat her in the face or threaten to smack her with a metal pole? - Or maybe he refused to do his chores because he didn't like them and felt it was beneath his dignity to do them and man up - I really hope the Redskins can find some loser team to take this locker cancer outta here. I really don't want to see him back at Redskins park - when things appear to be headed in the right direction, why would any sane person what to bring this disaster of a human back into the fold - he's cancer - he's poison, he's sub-human and a spoiled rotten self absorbed dirtbag - and that's just what the Post allows me to say here.... as to what I REALLY think of him.....well, I'd bet the majority of Redskin fans - and other NFL fans would agree with my thoughts about Haynesworthless - the worst ever free agent signing by this team - I'd rather see Jeff George and Adam Archuletta back before I see Haynesworthless back (ouch!)

Posted by: whelms1 | June 22, 2010 2:43 PM | Report abuse

Why would a man making that kind of money need a loan in the first place?

Posted by: jjohnblack53 | June 22, 2010 2:43 PM | Report abuse

This guy is poison. He'll be lucky if he can play nose tackle for the Toronto Argonauts next year.

B4DarkDC??

could you clear up the mystery of your "handle"...

is that before dark dc...or be for dark dc....cuz one could be looked at as racism.

And I'm pretty sure the dude making $9 an hour that is paralyzed from ol' Al's reckless driving doesn't care what color his antagonist was

Posted by: lang77 | June 22, 2010 2:56 PM | Report abuse

A deadbeat is a deadbeat...regardless of his race.
Is it simply a coincidence that he's been sued for paternity, now a loan default and essentially stolen $21M?
Probably not. He just isn't a good person and certainly not one you'd make a $100M commitment on.
This guy is a slug plain and simple. To attempt to turn this into yet another racism discussion is absurd. He's a deadbeat who happens to be black.

SUBJECT: Fat Albert and the WAPO

1. Fat Albert works for (at least a little while longer) the Washington Redskins.
2. The WAPO covers the Washington Redskins.
3. There are no white players being sued by a pregnent stripper, a bank, and a car accident victim.

Posted by: Jimof1913 | June 22, 2010 5:49 PM | Report abuse

To: Jimof1913

Just to clarify, "Bigfoot_has_a_posse" is not the one who charged WAPO with racism in reporting on Haynesworth's finances. That charge was made by "B4DarkDC." Bigfoot... was quoting before refuting.

I see B4DarkDC has not come back to defend or prove the accuracy of his or her comments.
