NASCAR goes Strasburg

Press release from Richmond International Raceway. Printed without comment.

STRASBURG, WHO? RICHMOND INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY'S #1 PICK TAKES THE MOUND TOMORROW NIGHT AT FLYING SQUIRRELS BASEBALL GAME

Fritz-A-Palooza Could Overshadow Washington Nationals' Strasburg-Mania

Richmond, VA (June 7, 2010)--While much of the sports world is anticipating tomorrow night's debut of Washington Nationals phenom pitcher and last year's #1 draft pick--Stephen Strasburg, fans in Richmond, Virginia are focused on the Double-A Eastern League appearance of Richmond International Raceway's #1 pick, Doug Fritz. The track president will throw out the Ceremonial First Pitch tomorrow night before the Richmond Flying Squirrels vs. New Britain Rock Cats game at The Diamond. Fritz, who has been clocked at more than 35 mph, is scheduled to take the bump at 6:45 p.m.

(This is a great press release sent in good fun, if that's not obvious.)
