Highlights of John Wall's debut

Everyone wanted to see John Wall's Summer League debut. The gym was reportedly packed, filled with fans, coaches, scouts, other players and a mess of media members. And Wall's debut was SportsCenter's Highlight of the Night, just sort of on principle. And yet much of this ESPN clip is given over to JaVale McGee, including a comparison of his cradle dunk to Michael Jordan's.

As for Wall, there are reviews all over the Internet. Kevin Arnovitz has a nice wrap-up up many of them. I like what John Thompson II had to say to Yahoo Sports:

"He's very special. He's got a unique talent and quickness with the ball with anyone I've seen. He gets through traffic. He's tough. I like the way he pays attention to people, too. There's not a whole bunch of [drama]. He's going to be special, but they're going to have to have a transition team. His talent is so good that he is going to have a big bearing on how the team plays. You don't get that guy and go slow."

Go fast, Wizards, go fast.

He seems to have pretty good chemistry with JaVale Mcgee. Should be a good thing. With his athleticism and size, JaVale can be a star if he polishes his game.
