Ovechkin raps in personalized sweatpants
If you had "July of 2010" in the "when will Alex Ovechkin show up in the studio of a Russian rapper wearing personalized sweatpants" pool, you enter way cooler pools than I do. Also, you probably won, depending on the exact date you chose.
Regardless, this would appear to be Washington's biggest sports star, at the studio of "the artist Dzhigan of Black Star Inc.," where he at least briefly donned the headphones in front of the mic. A Russian gossip site reports that he recorded a song for his girlfriend, though Alex Ovejtkin -- whence I found all this -- says buyer beware on this particular gossip.
The personalized sweatpants, though, are definitely something.

How can the NHL keep pushing Crosby as the face of the league when this guy has more personality than 98% of the players in the league combined?

Thats the problem, this guy is more of a headline off the ice, than he is on the ice. We'll take our Stanley Cup. NOvie can have his rap cd.

Last summer Sidney Crosby worked on his shot and set a career high in goals the following season.
This summer he is reportedly working on his skating to regain some of the burst he felt was lacking last year with the short summer after winning the Cup.
So it's really comforting as a Caps fan to know that while his rivals spend their summers analyzing their weaknesses and working to eliminate them, that Ovie is spending his summer working on a rap video.
Party on, Ovie. You do remember that the goal is to have a SHORT summer every year, right? What you do in summer matters, but I wonder if you realize it. Or care.

Yes Ovie should be getting bigger & stronger. so when he bumps into someone on the ice they can get hurt and Ovie "the goon" can be suspended again..exactly with part of his game should he be improving on slipstream1 ?
