Redskins join Zimmerman all-star campaign
First Clyde Simms and Santino Quaranta got into the campaign to vote Ryan Zimmerman into the All-Star Game. Then came Brian Orakpo and London Fletcher. Both of those Redskins linebackers, of course, played in last year's Pro Bowl. This message was shown on the Nats Park scoreboard on Wednesday night, in the final push to get votes for Zimmerman. You can vote here. Voting ends at 4 pm on Thursday, which will likely prevent any John Wall spots.
Also, turns out Orakpo and Fletcher's defensive coordinator had a front-row view of the proceedings on Wednesday night. Look, it's Jim Haslett. Wonder if he was voting the whole time.

Zimmerman deserved to be in the initial All Star roster as well as Votto. It's a shame that it all comes down to this extra vote.
Go ZIM!!!!!!!!!!
