Tim Kurkjian bobblehead night

It's been less than two months since I provided a list of D.C.'s summer bobbleheads, but there are three significant additions to the schedule.

Starting, of course, with Wednesday night's Tim Kurkjian Bobblehead Night at Shirley Povich Field in Bethesda. That's the home of the Bethesda Big Train, which plays the Herndon Braves at 7:30. Kurkjian will be there, as will 500 of his bobbleheads. See above.

There's also the Nats' fan choice bobblehead, Pudge Rodriguez, which will be given away on August 28. And there's the John Carlson bobblehead -- in Caps uniform, featuring his World Juniors game-winning pose -- which will be given away at a blood drive in Dulles this Saturday.
