A Papa John's pizza with 12 free Redskins toppings

I mentioned late Monday that Papa John's was offering 12 free toppings in honor of the six-touchdown Redskins preseason victory. Some readers offered comments on the offer, complaining that various Papa John's locations refused to honor the offer, or that it was impossible to successfully cook all 12 toppings.

But the key question -- what does a pizza with 12 free toppings actually look like -- has now been answered, thanks to longtime Reader Eddie D. His choice of toppings included double pepperoni, double sausage, double peppers, extra cheese, pineapples, mushrooms, bacon and chicken. This pizza could feed the town of Rockville for a month, or Albert Haynesworth for a week. But good for you, Eddie D., for holding Papa John's to their offer.

In other Redskins restaurant news, my former co-worker Karl sends along this image of the Johnny Rockets at 20th and Pennsylvania. That, folks, is corporate synergy. All that's missing is a wax sculpture of Dick Clark.
