The Mystics and their dogs
The Washington Mystics are 20-12. If they win their final two regular-season games, they'd still theoretically have a chance to finish with the top record in the WNBA's Eastern Conference. They'd also finish with a .647 winning percentage, which would be the second-best of any Washington professional basketball team in my lifetime, behind only the 1978-79 Bullets.
The fact that I haven't written a word about them, other than their appearance with Barack Obama, is frankly a bit embarrassing. And the fact that this item is about their dogs is even more embarrassing. Intensive Mystics playoff coverage will follow next week. Or, at least, an item not about their dogs.
In the meantime, please do enjoy this video of them talking about their dogs. They seem to favor small and yappy.

I wonder how many of the Mystics dogs are on the Redskins season ticket waiting list?

Finally, a WNBA post. That only took 1 season. Not that I care that much. I kinda forgot about them too.
