Redskins market Ring of Fame merchandise

With the Redskins inviting alumni to practices, campaigning for them to make the Hall of Fame and involving them in opening game festivities, it only figures that they'd also be selling their jerseys. The above ad went out from the Redskins Shop this week; if you follow the appropriate link, you'll find "legendary merchandise," including the jerseys of Joe Theismann, Sonny Jurgensen, Sean Taylor, Darrell Green, Brian Mitchell, Sammy Baugh, Russ Grimm, Sam Huff, John Riggins, Dexter Manley, Charles Mann, Joe Jacoby, Mark Rypien, Art Monk and Joe Gibbs.
The replicas'll run ya $89 plus $10.95 shipping and handling. "Note: This jersey is not a throwback jersey. This jersey is a replica of the current jerseys being worn today," says a note.
And we can all agree that this is better than an e-mail hawking Jason Taylor jerseys, yes?

Or people could log onto Ebay, get more authentic jersey's of these Ring of Fame members for like $30.
Granted they're made in Taiwan or North Korea or something but who cares.

Dan, follow your link back to the Redskins store. Check out some of the men's sizes for t shirts: 6XL. 6XL? SIX? XXXXXXL? Holy smokes, maybe that's why the stadium is full!

Danny Boy has to keep relying on the Redskins under the ownership of JKC for any positive vibes including merechandise sales. Another sad commentary that he has not and likely won't produce any HOFer who plays most of his career in DC. Hey, we got Albert though, right? How are his jerseys selling?

Seems to me that one of those players doesn't belong...

Dan,
any idea if the legends get a cut of the sales revenue?
