Wizards make the Daily Show

With Jon Stewart's Daily Show in D.C. all week, I guess I should have figured there would inevitably be a D.C. sports reference. Here's one from Tuesday's show, where Washington correspondent Wyatt Cenac portrays a bought-off Washington journalist reveling in his freebie tickets to the Wizards' home opener.
Because as we all know, D.C.'s power-brokers are just lining up to check out two teams that finished a combined 58 games below .500 last season on a Tuesday night.
Anyhow, the best part of the skit -- via Reader Dustin -- came when Cenac then proceeded to do the John Wall dance. Sadly, that was edited out of the final version.

Actually, *home* opener isn't until Tuesday.

@Tom_624: There was no typo. The Wizards home opener, not season opener is Tuesday, 2 November vs. the 76ers. Steinberg said Tuesday's game is between two teams that finished a combined 58 games below .500 last year. That could not be Thursday's opponent, the Orlando Magic who went to the playoffs last year.

Tom,
The Wizards open the season tomorrow, but the home opener is Tuesday, Nov. 2 I believe.
